Tell the Time in Korean — 몇 시예요?

Korean Time Master is a free browser game for practicing how to say the time in Korean. A clock appears on screen, you say the time out loud into your microphone, and speech recognition checks your answer right away. Every time is also spoken by a native Korean speaker so you can compare.

What you practice

• Hours use native Korean numbers with 시: 한 시 (1 o'clock), 두 시, 세 시, 네 시 … 열두 시
• Minutes and seconds use Sino-Korean numbers with 분 and 초: 이십삼 분 (23 minutes), 사십오 초 (45 seconds)
• 반 for half past (세 시 반) and 정각 for exactly on the hour
• 오전 (a.m.) and 오후 (p.m.) in front of the time

Four levels

Start with hours only (세 시), then hours and minutes (세 시 이십삼 분), then seconds too (세 시 이십삼 분 사십오 초), and finish with a.m./p.m. and the full time (오후 세 시 이십삼 분 사십오 초). Each level has eight rounds and three lives; clearing a level unlocks the next.
