안녕하세요 DK 가족 여러분! 저 민용이에요 🤗
Guess what?! 내일 새로운 식당이 개업해요! There’s a new restaurant opening tomorrow, and I’m so excited!
They specialize in 유부초밥, also known as inari sushi or fried tofu rice balls. If you haven’t tried it before, it’s made with rice stuffed inside sweet and savory seasoned tofu pockets. These days, you can also find 유부초밥 topped with delicious ingredients like beef, salmon, or spicy tuna. 진짜 맛있어요! 😋
By the way, 개업하다 means “to open or start a new business.” It sounds a little more formal and is used when a restaurant, café, store, or other business opens for the first time.
In everyday conversation, Koreans also commonly use 문을 열다, which literally means “to open the door.” It can describe a new business opening, but it can also mean that a business opens for the day. For example, 새로운 식당이 문을 열어요 means “A new restaurant is opening,” while 이 식당은 오전 11시에 문을 열어요 means “This restaurant opens at 11 a.m.”
I’m really looking forward to trying this new restaurant. Who wants to join me for lunch? 저하고 같이 먹을 친구~~! 🙌🏻
